M2M Development – Mud, and Muck and other things

10 February 2020

At a recent meeting we had with Councillor Filion neither the Councillor nor Mr. Brian Liberty (Special Assistant - Building, Parks & Facilities) had been apprised of the M2M transgressions regarding mud on Cummer and showed concern. It was also reported that there is no flagman at the entrance to stop multiple trucks barreling in and out with little regard for the safety of pedestrians or local traffic.

They undertook to pursue these two matters and have City staff keep closer tabs on M2M's shortcomings.

Councillor Filion did remark that we should all be using the 311 help line and particularly concerning matters of safety. He encouraged that in addition we inform his office on more serious infractions to promote further follow up.

The Toronto Star also reported on this and can be viewed here.
