Modular Supportive Housing at 175 Cummer Avenue Community Engagement Meeting #1 – March 9/21

In advance of the Meeting the City is holding, SCA is joining with our neighbours, the Bayview Cummer Neighbourhood Association (BCNA) to talk about this proposal and to focus our questions for the City’s Meeting.  You are encouraged to join us on Friday, March 5/21 from 7-9 pm on Zoom.  Details here.

A Community Engagement Meeting is being held on-line – Tuesday, March 9/21 from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Learn more about the new affordable housing building planned for 175 Cummer Avenue. The City is proposing a three-storey building with 64 studio apartments that will be ready for occupancy by the end of 2021.
Each apartment is self-contained with a private kitchen and bathroom. The building will also include a laundry facility, a kitchen and dining room, program space and administrative offices. The building is designed to support people who are exiting homelessness. A local non-profit housing provider will manage the building and provide support services to the tenants under an agreement with the City.
